The thing is that level of performance has become the norm. Can tell exactly how games are going to go . Weve had 4 shots ok target in 260 minutes of football . Its alright tho we didnt need to sign a striker. Ive watched loft play with an imaginary ball.

She just needs to look at the home attendance. She’ll certainly be noticing that if it becomes the norm.

Disgusting performance tonight, it it wasn’t for Ripley that score could have easily been 4 or 5.

Under Michael Brown we tried to stay up with the likes of Dan Turner and Billy Reeves. We’re now trying to do it with Bayley Dipepa and Jack Shorrock.

There are so many similarities between this season and that one.

If I were at the Vale tonight I’d be doing a Horsefield magic on the bus and throwing some slaps around Flitcroft to get him an Uber as fast as I could out of Burslem.

This club is too important to leave it to a DOF who has not got a clue, blames others for his failures and didn’t have the balls to manage his team tonight.

Unbelievably atrocious display, almost unrivalled in the long history of poor performances we've been subject to over the years and showing all the attributes of Flitcroft's oversight. The seeds of this abject performance are the result of appalling decision making over the last twelve months or so - three poor windows and the appointment of a rookie manager who no one else in the football league would have appointed. 

The chickens have come home to roost and, unless we appoint a top, top manager, we are done. We need a miracle worker but just before we get too excited, let's think for a moment about who is in charge of that appointment. And the fact that we're skint. 

The strategic genius that is Flitcroft - who'd a thunk it?
