He could put £1 million into the club every year and it would barely dent the interest payments on his millions. 
 

At Vale we saw him buy shares to keep Bratt going and his charity gig destroyed the pitch. Before Carol appeared and he attended a couple to plug that gig to shift tickets, the last recorded appearance of him attending a match before was Brentford away in 2009. An era when he’d be seen at Chelsea matches on many occasions. 
 

He tends to appear to massage his own ego rather than benefit the club. The charity gig made no discernible difference to the club, yet he has presidency of the club, a suite in his name and status on par with greatest figure in the history of the club in Sir John. 
 

It doesn’t sit well with me that he is getting bestowed such honours when we all know that if as fans, we had his vast wealth, we’d have done far more. We can’t do a statue for Rudgie, but we can give RW a suite and a presidency? 
 

Also it smacks of a well timed PR move. No decent signings, no money, Flitcroft talking of looking to Nordic leagues? 
 

Don’t worry Vale fans….here’s President Robbie to deflect from all your troubles! 

 

How do you manage to put a negative slant on everything Vale and still call yourself a "Valiant"? Everything is either woffle, a lie or some kind of conspiracy? If we do good community work we should be concentrating on football; if we give an honest appraisal of the transfer market it's either DFs fault or Carol's for not  emptying her Bank account on overpriced players? Robbie has so much money he could chuck £1 million a year into the club - but why should he when miserable shits like you moan about everything Vale? I'm not prepared to read your BS anymore!

You do know you can block people? I’m not asking for your views either. They are valid concerns about the club. Some people hold Walter Mitty like views that all is fine and wonderful.

I don’t believe there has been any honest appraisal of the transfer market. I think, as we have seen, the market is reflective of what our rivals can pay. We can’t match it and that’s why we are struggling. 

We all know Robbie could put money into the club and any fan with his vast swathes of disposal income would. That is a copper bottomed fact. I know I would. 

There are no lies, conspiracies or any other smears you wish to name in my posts. Purely opinion. A forum is a place for opinion.
