Hope them tickets are selling well in the home ends we have only played 7 home games this season on a sat.

Surely if your Vale and in ok health you be there tomorrow

I can use usually go online and have a look but haven't being able to as my old sim has me Port Vale online account not be new one .

Really quiet on the forums doesn't seem much excitement around,be honest I ain't being as bothered about football lately maybe everyone feels the same .

Or it might just be a January thing .

Works quiet so been finishing earlier so had a lot of relaxation time so far this week hopefully finish shift early tomorrow morning and be up for visit of top of  the league Portsmouth .

Really critical game really .

Need to believe in themselves no doing like v Bolton and Derby first half over respecting the opposition

Believe in yourselves Vale

Hope we are at them straightaway and not sitting back admiring them. Hope non of the young lads get sent off! Apparently Dan Gore is a tenacious little bugger. Hey ho no prisoners! Come on you whites!

Despite crawling over the line at Fleetwood last weekend, Portsmouth are in awful form. Ideal time to play them.

Yes, wiki says he did Anthony Martial in training.  I'm hoping he's the new Paul Scholes. He liked a nibble.

Most of all I Hope Crosby is successful as a manager. I have often fundamentally disagreed with his team selections, tactics and subs. He has also bored me to death with teams that just passed along the backline. I think he has cost us a lot of points late in games. So tomorrow is his chance to get it right and start to show he's a long term manager.

Tomorrows ref reffed one game at Vale Park last season

Vale nil   Portsmouth 1

He's reffed us once this season and sent off Arblaster at Lincoln.

Let's not focus on the ref ,

Focus on the vale being on the front foot

TBF 95% refs would have give the second yellow for that foul. He also gave a Lincoln player a straight red for an elbow on Uche. Don't remember him doing a lot wrong.

Probably quieter than normal because 8 of the starting 11 are obvious, maybe you could make an argument for Sang. The back 3 is up in the air. I think the issue there is you could permutation on 3 from 6. Now fit Debrah 100% plays for me. On Williams I'd trust the manager's judgement.  Lowe has looked pretty composed. Smith is best in a grappling match up. Jones is the best distributor, quicker than given credit and when playing well is a battler. Lacovitti wins his headers and is strong. None are perfect, none awful. Not sure what kind of threat Portsmouth will offer. I wouldn't argue with anyone over the back 3 as I can see everyone's point of view.

Had a good look at Dan Gore on YouTube. He's undoubtedly got quick feet and likes to glide past players. Could be very special.

My concern is that he holds onto it too long - although he'll soon learn when he gets smashed by an 18 stone League One centre half.

Rumours that Robbie Williams will be at the game, after being named club president last night.

If he is, get him on the pitch at half time, signing autographs and advertise the <ovf censored> out of it.

It sounds sad, but that would genuinely boost the attendance.
