Die Young (sorry!) appears to be going down a similar route to Owen Oyston - which could be a good thing for the club and its supporters? Oyston was practically forced to sell Blackpool as he had systematically, and illegally, stripped his club of its assets - which Dai is apparently doing, now? So the same, punitive action could be taken against him, and the club goes into receivership so that a new owner(s) can be found to take the club forward. Much better than allowing this Muppet to continue stripping the club of its assets?

By the way - as we have been in similar circumstances with a couple of bad owners - I would expect our fans to have a bit more sympathy with Reading fans than they have so far shown?

Maybe you weren't there in the freezing cold...

Wycombe Wanderers has a good profitability record over the last 6 years. They should turn up and their fans, albeit disappointed with current form, shouldn't invade the pitch and get the game called off. I guess their only reason to protest will be Hollands Pies.

RZ feeling cold vs thousands of supporters facing losing their 150yr old club.

🤔

I wasn't just speaking for myself. It was nothing to do with us that they face losing their club. They made their point by stopping the game.

Brian can you tell me if I should get a match ticket or not as Conrad might or might not get the game abandoned . Advice  would be appreciated.

I wouldn't go get a ticket as I think it will be off frozen pitch, which is probably the worst thing that can happen, with the back log of fixtures we are now getting.

Don’t they cover the pitch to help prevent it freezing?  Supposed to be warming up on Friday being a balmy 5C by midday on Saturday.🏖️🥵

Frost covers can only protect the pitch to a certain temperature. Challenge might be a run of very cold days which if they happen could get a heavy frost into the pitch. Then it will depend on the temperature getting back above zero and staying there for long enough to thaw the pitch out.

Personally wouldn’t be at all surprised to see a fair number of postponed games across the country this coming weekend.
