I must have missed Liam (not pictured) bursting onto the scene.  I hope he does, and I hope we get £750,000 for him at some stage soon. But I think I need to consult my agent Rhoda Borrocks before I say any more....

I'm just off to write an article for them about how Smudger is being chased by Real Madrid having burst onto the scene this season.....

If Vale have potential Good Young players, they should keep them for Vale Fans to enjoy in the future, then sell them for a Better price, Or keep them to get Promotion ? - I believe the Club Has Sold Two Good Young players recently (Sadly ) , to Newcastle Utd ? and Aston Villa ? - Why ?

I’m not 100% sure of the ins-and-outs but I don’t think they’re “our” players as such because they’re too young to sign pro contracts.

I think the fee we get is more of a compensation than a transfer fee and we don’t really get that much of a say in the matter. All we can do is also offer a pro contract and hope they choose to stick with us which is unlikely when up against the likes of Villa and Newcastle.

No idea how close to the truth this story is but it reads like it’s been written by his agent.

I did smile at the caption on the photo of the Dortmund manager saying he is desperate to land him. I doubt he even would have known we exist as a football club much less our academy players.

If there is any truth in this, there's presumably a danger he won't sign pro forms at 17 and we won't get the pay day if he moves on.

We can`t stand in their way and sometimes its best to take the money now as they don`t improve to become first team material anyway. Remember we turned down money for Joe Anyon once. If some of  the money gets recycled into the first team squad to help the manager instead of match day dressing rooms or such crap then all is good.

The Dortmund recruiting system would know, maybe track the EFT. Whether one of their top targets, who knows? He is likely to have seen a review of their work. But as always agents make the most noise.

Apparently Dortmund have denied all knowledge of Brazier, allegedly having confused him with a system for undersoil heating for the cold German winter.  However, they have driven over this evening to make a bid for James Plant, believing him to be handy for filling in those bald patches around the penalty spot at this time of year. My spies, (who are all shepherds by the way - bless you Spike Milligan), are presently eavesdropping on a conversation ongoing between Dortmund's Director of Football, Hans Kneesandbumpsadaisy, and a sack of charcoal near the checkout tills at Norton Canes services. 

You heard it here first folks.  Don't believe everything you read in the Sun. This is definitely true.
