so we beat Orient? fantastic, what about the next game, the next game? We have been on a vertical drop for months, a little uptick as we hurtle to the bottom means essentially nothing. long term picture is he has no future at our club. Whatever the injuries and transfer policies, this squad is good enough with the right formations, personnel and tactics. We need a manager experienced with working under a structure similar to what Carol has put in place.

A win seems to buy him a few more weeks - if we really need to lose tomorrow to get a new manager than I hope we lose as at least we have a chance to stay up without him as manager

Only announcement I'm expecting is for an Easter egg hunt at the Golden oldies club with Boomer and guest of honour in a few weeks time.

I really don’t think it will happen.

A poor display and defeat tomorrow will be the end because the fans who pay hospitality are highly valued and will be vocal tomorrow night.

Carol can’t afford to lose those fans.

People rightly called that the Mansfield game saved him. 

That was in October and we are having the same debates.

He's going nowhere particularly if Carol is poorly. We're lumbered.

Wrong. BB was and still is a Vale fan. Am sure he would still attend except for the abuse he would get.

Only thing he did badly was not to find an investor/ buyer for the club, but it was not for the lack of trying. I was a small investor in V2001 along with a thousand others. Lost my money, but do not care about that. Would do it over again to save my club.

Peter Coates had the same send off at Stoke years ago...he then acquired wealth, came back and the rest is history!!

 

I spoke to Bill Bratt once or twice and he always seemed like a genuine bloke. If he could come back and make amends in the way Coates did, I believe he would.
