Is there any means of streaming the match today?

*Bump*

Don't care how it's done, just a nice little win today.

Nor is Iacovitti.

This tickled me. I must admit I’m ashamed of my pedantry, but I am so sick of seeing ‘Lacovitti’. It’s really not a complicated name and why would he be nicknamed ‘The Yak’ if his name started with an L?! 😂

Good morning mr happy

I am happy, very happy in fact. Perhaps because I had date night last night with Mrs @Packmoor_vale 🤣

Mock all you want, I’m not the only one feeling like this about the Vale atm, the crowd on Tuesday tells you that. Just 5,000 home fans vs Derby…. shocking really.

For me there’s only one place this season takes us without some form of change, and that’s back to L2.

Some people seem to think the January window will offer some sort of get out of jail card, as we’ll be able to sign a couple of strikers and wing backs and then everything will be good again.

Well not quite. Firstly you’ve got the problem of finding better players willing to come to a struggling side without holding us to ransom. Secondly we’re highly likely to lose Ollie, maybe Alfie and almost certainly Josh. There’s potentially three bodies gone straightaway.

Thirdly, January hasn’t exactly been kind to us in the past. What if, for example, Ojo, Ripley and Yak got their heads turned?? Under contract you say, doesn’t exactly count for much these days with players seemingly able to just down tools because they “don’t feel in the right place”. Remember the effect of losing Alnwick, Grant and Jones?? Still I’m sure the £250k we raked in was useful somewhere.

And that’s before you even tap into Crosby’s stubbornness regarding tactics and his love of playing players out of position and generally, dull, low risk football.

So yeah, apathy reigns I’m afraid. I hope I’m wrong I really do as the thought of watching the likes of Crawley again does not appeal in the slightest.

Don’t think they own it the council do. Was built as a community stadium (wonder where have heard that one before 😗).

That might explain why it cost so much, for such a small capacity?

Where are the loanees?

It’s doubtful the manager will ever change tactics based on the evidence to date.

I'm not sure any manager would? Those on here who like playing a back four will always advocate for a back four...regardless of any evidence against it?

I don't think it takes a conspiracy theorist to suggest that Sheffield United and Spurs don't want Arblaster and Devine cup tied

Except they both played in the first round. Which is why you shouldn't believe in conspiracy theories!

So our forwards are so poor we decided to play without any.  Good to see Walters in the team but not sure how this 11 will line up

Arblaster and Devine supposed to be injured and not with the squad.  Um looking good on the bench but not sure how the first 11 will line up and gel.

No recognised striker starting, so Garrity takes that position.  At least he might score.
