That’s football, you also have the exact opposite, where some players follow certain managers around.  Ellis Harrison wanted to play for Clarke it seems and Tom Pett has recently joined up with DC again.

I thought it was kind of DC to tell the world that Tom Pett was playing for peanuts

You’re assuming that Pett is actually playing for peanuts, the reality could well be different.  Clarke has a squad of players to keep happy so he’d be daft to say anything other than Pett is playing for peanuts.

Why would the other players be upset if he was on comparable wages? I thought it was more about proving how great he was because players would play for him for practically nothing.

Cant believe crosbys still got a job. On thing that carol could be questioned on is how quick she is to pull the trigger. Askey had way to long. Same can be argued with clarke. Crosby ten league games without a win . Surely an 11th is game set match?

He's an under 21s manager. No ruthlessness, good football without actually doing anything. He'll end up at a prem club as the Academy manager - not a bad job to get.

Well how high do you think we should be in league 1 with this squad? The best players are loans, which tells you just how much lavish funding has been spent on it.
