I agree Carol has her faults, who doesn’t, but in August/September folk on here were praising the appointment of Crosby. And with regard to appointing someone who had never managed before, the two teams who were automatically promoted from League One were both managed by guys in their first management job.

Only numpties were. He hardly set the world on fire in his handful of games last season did he? Like Flitcroft he talks a decent game but is woefully out of his depth. If and when he gets sacked no other football league club will go near him unless it's as a number 2, which tells you everything.

We have a clown as a manager. An absolute donkey upstairs who's the ultimate blagger. And a chairwoman who, despite having a heart of gold, hasn't got a scooby doo about the actual football side of things.

Football is such a predictable game isn’t it. Back when Carol took over I said on here that she should be careful courting the limelight and publicity like she did when she was riding a wave of popularity. People were quick to criticise that comment because of how she’s saved the club and all the good things she’d done. All fair points of course. But at some point football eventually turns nasty when results don’t go our way and people will forget what’s gone before. Here we are at that point now.

Doesn’t invest in the team for how long now. Can’t find the money to finish the Lorne Street concourse but can for a few hundred in the posh seats. Now the paddock is knackered and can’t be bothered sort that out and doesn’t tell us the reason for this but comes out with poor excuse of the toilets needs fixing! How many months does it take to sort out toilets?? 
 

No update from the club about anything just expects fans to turn up and keep paying without any sign of progress. 
 

Turns down offers for the club when it’s clear as day that’s she hasn’t got the money for us to progress yet somebody has and she’s doesn’t want this investment to help the club. Suppose to be a fan but that’s not the actions of someone who wants the best for the club. 
 

O well at least we have a nice new scoreboard for when we will be back in league 2 at this rate.

Very true and Carol paid nothing for the scoreboard. It was gifted to the club.

Not blaming Carol here for a second but it was painfully obvious after his 4 game audition that he wasn't up to the job. More than enough people pointed that out at the time.

Carols problem has been trusting people too much. Flickcroft has hoodwinked her into a nice little earner where he can play billy big bits. That being said, I wouldn't sack him now but give him an ultimatum - bring in a manager and coaching staff (not your bothers mates from the builders yard) and keep this club in league one or you are off in the summer.

It’s a bit different giving a bloke with no experience a side that stayed up by the skin of their teeth to a side with a much larger budget. AC also had last season to prove what he could do and we still went for him without bothering to interview. Carol is a lot to blame in my opinion for quite a few issues recently.
