Yes. It’s the buy any old player who is cheap system. You stick them in anywhere and hope they will do enough to avoid relegation and stop the fans from rioting.

    I don’t know if it came up on everyone’s technology but MEN reporting Gore, likely to be playing again soon and he stayed at pvfc  and didn’t return to Carrington. I thought he’d gone for good.

    RZ, I didn’t. Probably MUFC psychology after the problems they’ve had with young players. Send them to the likes of us to see where they’ll end up if they don’t knuckle down.

    I wondered if he was fit, wanting to play etc but judging from the Charlton press release he has been training for a couple of weeks which means he must be there or thereabouts. 

    I completely agree with you @MBE if he was fit and looking for a club he should have been exactly the sort of proven forward Vale should have been looking to add. 

    I think considering our desperation for a striker we've definitely missed out there.

    It's not like Charlton need him they already have 3 of the best strikers in the division in may,ladapo and leaburn. I think regarding Connor Wickham I bet the feeling several clubs have tried sign him but he's waited it out till he gets a decent sized club like Charlton paying stupid wages to him every week.
