I disagree that Carroll has been a better talent than Gayle myself. Gayle has been a lot more prolific than Carroll over their careers albeit some was played a lower level than Carroll but even higher up the pyramid he’s scored more goals. One of the most overrated players of all time Andy Carroll for me mate

Newcastle had Liverpool over massively with the ludicrous fee for Carroll. May as well of donned a mask and rode of into the sunset with the booty.  Pure robbery.
