Wing backs on both sides have to take priority this January no exceptions if we are to continue to persist with this formation and system.

Josh Emmanuel is a good start if we can get him training with us before then and sign come January surely that gets him match ready by then?

Also will Carol continue to back Crosby if he’s still in charge if we are in a underwhelming position?

We might have replaced our manager by then, so if it’s emergency signings, they’ll bring someone with them they can trust.

His stock would still need to fall a lot further before he considered managing us. How many managers have we been through since his rise to prominence? 
 

He isn’t bothered about Vale but people on here are obsessed with the idea that he is.

Why? So far he's failed at Championship level, so none there would fancy him. That leaves League One clubs who aren't fussy about playing attractive football, of which we would be one

Plenty of bigger clubs with more chance of success in League 1 than us. He’d be off to one of them before us. Appreciate one of them would have to be looking for a manager but that’s not unlikely.

i really think you are selling us short there. His last job was Wycombe.

Port Vale are a bigger team than Wycombe.

Obviously geography is a big factor though
