What other good signings did we make? Iacovetti is very poor. Chislett and Deborah great signings. Devine and Arblaster as well but both will probably go back. The rest have been very poor

5 good signings out of 16, what a window!!

Where do you get 16 signings from?

Ripley, Leutwiler, Yak, Lowe, Deborah, Sang, Grant, Clark, Balmer, Devine, Arblaster, Loft, Uche, Thomas, Chislett and Wilson (after releasing him).

I'd say Ripley, Jesse, Sang, Devine, Arblaster and Chizzy have been good. So 6 out of 16, or 37.5% success rate.

As good as Arblaster and Devine have been aswell we'll be lucky to see him in a vale shirt again so we've only had him half a season and Devine could be recalled and sent out to a higher standard team both of them had no right be as good as they have proven to be in my opinion they were chancer signings! Look at all the young lads on loan we've had in the past 2 seasons and how many can we say did the business?

I’d say we were talking about summer transfer signings and I wouldn’t count Wilson as a new signing so out of 14 it’s now closer to 50%. Didn’t Rudge say if you got half your signings right you’d done well?

How have you taken one player out and gotten to 14? I'd very much count Wilson considering our DoF and manager binned him then had to have him back when they couldn't replace him.

In this video (8 mins in) Clarke tells DF that we need to be aiming for 75% success. We've never even got close since we got to L1.

If he’s on about summer (in window signings) then I’m guessing he is excluding Uche but leaving in Jesse as he’s done well.

So by that count it’s 5 in 14. Either way the window was a right mess again

But the suggests that all the others are 'bad' - some of them I'd class as OK but not bad.

However, we still need to clear out those that clearly are not up to the job and replace with better.

Either take them both out or leave them both in if you're doing that. Don't just do whichever one suits your argument the best.

I'd say the rest fall into three categories, crap, injury prone, or crap and injury prone.

Some have done OK in spells and been shocking in others (Yaks probably the prime example of this). That doesn't say to me good signing.

In terms of the big picture, don't forget that under Flitcroft we've also signed Jones, Martin, Stone, Danny Amos, Hussey, Robinson, George Lloyd, Cooper, Holy, Agyawka, Holden, Thierry Small, Jack Stevens, Odubeko, McCarron, Donnelly, and Matty Taylor.

There is some <ovf censored> no doubt but for balance you should be listing every player signed by Flitctoft to give an accurate picture. The signings for L2 were very good with the likes of Walker,Pett,Wilson,Proctor,Jones,Cass, Garrity etc.

All subjective, obviously. Some are only elevated a tier or two because we flipped them for a profit.

Summer 2022 - Cass, Ojo, Massey, Agyakwa, Forrester, Holden, Harrison, Small (loan), Stevens (loan), Odubeko (loan), Butterworth (loan), Politic (loan), McCarron (loan)
