Seen a report Bristol Rovers not expected to go after him again now they’ve got a new manager. Whether that’s just positioning on a fee who knows. Based on what you’ve said I would guess Charlton and Blackpool could fit that criteria.

Can't see Charlton spending 850k really or close to that.

 

Blackpool you'd class as rivals for promotion so possibly someone like Fleetwood making a desperate attempt to stay up? or Carlisle with their new money?

I think they’d be more likely than Fleetwood with their owner doing time. Clubs like them two I’d imagine he’d just sit his contract out and try his luck as a free agent rather than go either them or Carlisle.

Blackpool have Jordan Rhodes (on loan ‘til end of the season) who’s already scoring pretty regularly in their formation so not sure what Clarke-Harris would give them unless they’re looking to change tactics or concerned Huddersfield will want Rhodes back next month.

Fingers crossed with MacAnthony and Fry they'll drive a hard enough bargain to drag it out long enough. By all accounts Charlton might lose Blackett-Taylor so guess that would even things out regardless.

🤣🤣🤣. Do you really think Exeter could afford him. 🤣. Their Chairman recently said they would have a competitive budget for L2 next Season. Their fans were up in arms about it.

Being realistic there is a group of clubs regularly pulling in 10000 plus crowds; then a large group of clubs in the same position as Exeter. We aren't going to buy our way into The Championship.  Build, attract young up and coming players and maybe we can strike gold. I'm sure everyone would love us to sign Clarke-Harris but he's way above our budget.

Yes we have to cast our net out there and find our own younger Clarke-Harris ,they will be out there

If Ojo and Arblaster are both out for a while we desperately need a playmaker in central midfield.  Probably more than a LWB and striker.

I'd like to see Sang in the middle myself, in his proper position; but agree an extra head with some quality wouldn't go amiss with them pair out for the next month or so. Arguably been our best 2 x players this season.

Everyone has an opinion on Crosby but it's pretty clear to me that he is an unlucky manager. I know ppl say you make your own luck, but for them pair to both pick up injuries around a busy Xmas schedule really is rotten. Just as Wilson is coming back as well. I'm not sure he's ever played his best 11, & if he has it's only been a couple of times max.
