I suspect the team selection is best judged by the result at 9:45pm ish.

I would personally have gone stronger given the potential reward a 4th round tie might yield. Equally there is no guarantee of that reward, nor that a stronger side would get the result (although it’s chances would seem higher).

He has also put in some suspect tackles and elbows already as well.  Trying to say I am here, but carry on like this hopefully will not be there are the finish.

This isn't a pre-season friendly, it's a chance to get in the last 16 of a national cup including some of the best club teams in the world. Everything about this so far has been a shambles. Put some players on who are used to playing in this system. Look like strangers out there, which is understandable with the team selection. Very static. A little bit of movement in the middle of the pitch will open these up.

Just tippy tappy Vale and no up front finishing at the moment.  You could have 99% of the play and do nothing with it.  They have 1%,  shoot and score and win the game.  Just need players willing to have a shot on goal instead of looking to pass it around.

They are putting a lot of effort in to closing down our players, can it carry on into the 2nd half.

Just need to get a goal and they may get more aggressive and end up with players being sent off, They seem to be more willing to put that aggressive tackle in and say welcome to our style of play.

Hope for changes here. This a huge chance to potentially get a big premiership side next round and get some money into the club. Feels like we’re playing a training match, changes needed and some tempo as well
