Good to hear, is he the Autonet guy? If so that's great news showing he is still involved in the club. Someone told me (man in the pub)that he tried to buy the club and Carol said no so he walked away from the Vale. Just goes to prove never believe anything you hear from any Man in the pub

That’s a fair point. It looks fairly low and an errant shot in its direction is possible I’m sure. When I look at other clubs which have similar screens, they tend to be located higher up or on a separate platform. 

It'd be in more danger sat in Burslem Park, or on top of the Hamil.

Pretty sure they can take the odd wayward shot ,Fleetwood had theirs in the corner not to high up ⚽️⚽️🤔

They were doing the planning for this when I went get my season ticket Carol was very involved, no doubt who was supervising.. its the kind of things which go on behind the scenes people don't appreciate but they are really important to improving the match day experience... it will give real interest for the younger fans as we try and build up towards that 10,000 average before we even think about getting into the play offs.

I also got a pre curser of  the "run out" music, all i ll say is its bespoke and fantastic.

I wonder if there's any chance of some of those old, retro graphics being used on the new screen?

I know there's going to be snazzy replays and the like but surely there's also space for the odd, retro moment too,,,

I remember the "corner" graphic and I'm pretty sure there was a tank graphic during Vale attacks...

You ve a good memory.... wasn't there a blocky graphic of an ambulance driving on when a player was injured?

Not sure it would amuse any of the younger iPhone generation though !

Unless the screen is about 60 foot tall a McKirdy penalty kick would clear it easily. 👍🏻
