New Sky TV deal announced

From the 2024/25 season onward, this agreement makes more matches available to stream and will effectively replace the current Sky Sports EFL red button coverage and the EFL's domestic streaming option provided via iFollow and club streaming services. Domestic streaming audio services will remain alongside existing audio-visual arrangements for international audiences via iFollow and club streaming services.

so looks like Ifollow international will continue (for those who live abroad ahem ahem 😜)

Seems like the death of football league to me. Really worried about the moving of games.
For me as a lower league fan I love saturdays at 3PM

TBH im on a 20 quid a month now tv deal until EO June, but for these amounts of matches, I dont mind paying more

I miss Sky and BT games to come to Vale Park already. Always Sat lunchtime plus always Sat evening plus mid week Euro games. If they push their luck on Sky too far, I'll cancel the subscription.

The seasons about approximately 40 weeks long so 248 / 40 is around six league 1 games a week .

Cancel both, I heard from a man in the pub that there are numerous cheaper “alternatives”. 😉

Ifollow does not show sky games so this could cut the number of games down further. For us overseas supporters might be time to go back to a quick check of the scores on a Sunday morning.

Will the no Saturday 3pm streams in the UK rule still apply (if you don’t have a VPN)?

Also Will there still be a highlights programme on free to air TV?  Hope ITV don’t get it if there is - commentaries are still OK and the frequent repeats are good but the in studio hosting/punditry is cringeworthy more often than not and I the transmission schedule/slots seem to change every week.
