Were there any of those available? Not sure about LWB but we...some of us...have been whinging for a decent, proven Lge 1 striker, for a while - which we got. And whilst it's taken him games to settle in...or get match-sharp...2 from his last 1.5 games suggests he's getting better. Also - and it's obvious to see  we play better on a better pitch. The build up to the first goal, and the near-second, were much better than we showed on our shitheap - which was directly responsible for Forrester's injury!

Been a decent game. Portsmouth getting more play now but so far kept them at arms length. Sammy done alright at RCB but get the feeling Smudge will need to talk him through it a bit in terms of some of his positioning.
