Probably the worst moment of Covid ( football wise ) was missing being there for the 6-3. That would of been amazing to be there .

It was about that time where Rodney gave Santos for them a right good sorting out I thought we could make some serious money out of him but then never quite worked out that way.

Going to be a tough game for us as these have a decent squad. Now Conlon has got through 90 I’d be throwing him straight back into the starting lineup in place of probably Garrity. Need all our best ball players in this one to keep possession especially if it’s going to be a hot one as don’t want to be chasing round constantly all game.

Really looking forward to the game, especially after the 2 signings today.

Wondering if the gobby girl(singing We'll never see you again) from a few seasons ago, will be there.

Any sort of win over their fatheaded arrogant manager will do me.

As for the heat it won't bother the players. I believe Vale thrashed the waiters and pool attendants in a game during the recent pre season.

It’s only the fourth time we’ve met sine they were never playing us again of course! Hehe

After the transfer activity I'd be going :

Stevens

Robinson - Forrester - Smith - Hall - Benning

Ojo - Walker - McDermott

Proctor - Harrison

Everyone has their own ideas but I can’t see that midfield being the one that starts, barring injury to other players.  Not sure about Walker and McDermott, probably Garrity, who I don’t think has had the best of starts, and depending how he’s recovered from Wednesday, maybe Conlon will start and get 60 - 70 minutes.  In defence  I’d have Massey, if fit, over Robinson at RWB for this game, although it’s a bit harsh on the latter.

We’re still very light up top.  Ideally we’d have a couple of strikers on the bench.

I would also start Massey, but he looked absolutely knackered when he didn't have the ball at his feet. Can't see him having enough in the tank for Saturday to start.

That midfield may not be the one that DC thinks should starts, but it would be the one i'd go with. Tommy McD offered more in the 15 mins in the middle he played on Weds than Garrity has so far all season.

Have to admit that’s not what I saw but in fairness hard to tell because he was mostly nowhere near the Bycars at that stage in the game.  I’d still think it’ll be Garrity, but if not there’s at least a couple of other players in front of McD for a midfield spot.

Only one spot I differ is I’m going with Conlon instead of McDermott for Garrity to add that extra quality on the ball. Now he’s got some minutes behind him I think we’ll start to see him get better by the game.

Other than that am fully on board with the rest of it.

After a quick glance at their forum, are we playing Bolton or Real Madrid tomorrow?

It’s “big club” syndrome, seems to be worse the lower down the leagues you are.  That said, I never felt Bradford fans came over that way, possibly because they’ve grown accustomed to being stuck in the lower two tiers for a while.  In fairness, Bolton have just had a decent season and will expect to push on.
