Why waste money on hotels

I'm glad they are staying over.

 

Not good preparation to be honest getting up at. 6am then sitting on a coach for five hours then playing a game, ( a game we need something from)....

 

I'm not saying we will get a win but it will certainly help with not travelling on the day all the way down south.

 

Well done to whoever paid for the stay over!!

Just driven past the ground, why is the players coach there. I appreciate, they need professional preparation with it being a long trip, but we are in admin for gods sake. Surely a 7am start would not hurt them for crying out load. :rolleyes:

You can't seriously suggest the players should travel down on the morning of the game. It would be around 6 hours on a bus, they would have to leave at around 7am and would them get back at around midnight!

I know for a fact a certain Vale fan offered to pay for the Players accomadation at Crawley and Torquay.....I don't if the Club took up the offer..........

I would just like to point out there is nothing more tiring that sitting on a bus for three or four hours before a game,it does affect performance on the pitch,believe me I have done it,we have been held up on motorways for hours, and struggled to get there for kick off, I can remember the players had to get striped on the bus when we went to QPR then right into the game. We lost. Ex kitman.

I would just like to point out there is nothing more tiring that sitting on a bus for three or four hours before a game...

 

Try crashing your plane in the Sahara (it happened to me, with that guy who played Kowalski in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. Trudging across 600 miles of desert was more tiring than sitting on a bus.
