I don’t agree. It’s not irrelevant and they still have a lot of the same players. You can’t go into a season with 1 fit striker who wasn’t fit at the end of last season. We’re playing a 17 year old midfielder up top for Christ sake. 

Didnt do this last season did we? Suppose likes of Wilson were panic buys? 

Theres still time I just hope we can pick up a decent tally before we get these players in. don’t want to be playing catch up in this league imo

Because I’m sure we have targets, obviously none have just come off then. So if the club just signed any old striker immediately in panic at not having a striker like everyone wants, we’d be panicking and shopping out of the basement bargain bin.

No, Wilson was a properly scouted and recruited player, and hence was good for us. I’m glad you’re starting to see reason.

You might be able to make a strong case for even someone like Robinson or Guthrie, who have been mentioned a bit ago here, being better than nothing. Simply based on the fact that they are actual strikers. Albeit not very good.

I'm all for a bit of patience, but we're now fast approaching the time where it is a bit silly having Proctor and a young kid as our only fit forwards.
