New Turnstiles?

Just had a look at the new turnstils's at Vale.Looks like there is still a fair bit of work to do on them before they are 'Finished'.Will they be ready to use on Saturday even if they are not 'Finshed' completely? What plan is in place 'IF' the turnstiles are not ready?

Hand scanners I would imagine....I agree though they look a million miles from being ready in 46 hours time.

I looked on Sunday and they were no where near finished, if they’re still not done that only leaves tomorrow to get it all finished.

Is there any other turnstiles that could be used for one game?

It isn't the end of the world if they're not finished in time for Saturday. I'm sure they will have a plan B ready. Likely to be what they did against Swindon at home, I don't think I've ever accessed a match at Vale Park quicker than that day.

Haha! People are very sensitive today on here. I never said you did say it was the end of the world, I didn't quote you. It was more to settle AW's "oh dear" remark.

Must be the nerves kicking in so close to the start of the season. I didn't mean any offence, melv.

Great that the club is trying to constantly improve fans experience, when they open they will help improve entry to the stadium that is undergoing a programme of improvements

The turnstiles themselves are operational but we were told tonight that there had been a delay in the delivery of the technology bits so we will be hand scannered in on Saturday
