Happy with that, so called “big clubs” spread out, two of the more winnable games to start and home first, last and Boxing Day.

Plymouth Away may move at short notice… England could have a World Cup round of 16 game that day although not sure what time that would be, could be an early KO I guess.

Very winnable first game against one the teams we will hopefully be above come the end of the season.

I wonder if the fixtures will get moved on Sat 3rd December (Plymouth away) and Sat 10th December (Bristol Rovers away), as World Cup knockout games will be played at 3pm on those days, and England could be in the one on Sat 3rd (if we finish 2nd in the group).

The fixtures get messed up around all the international weekends as well in league one as a lot lose players so Posh for example might be off if they have a couple of internationals/U21s

Reckon it will get moved, as it won't be known if England are in the 3pm game on Sat 3rd until the group positions are finalised just 4 days before (final group game v Wales on Tues 29th Nov at 7pm).

A little disappointed we didn't get Derby early doors for 3 points!

Never mind. Tough looking run of away games in September. I don't think the computer has been kind to us to having Wycombe away Sat followed by Barnsley away the following Tues.

Can't wait for the season start going to be another rollercoaster.

The England clashes won't be early kick offs, we will have to reaarange them when Garrity, Proctor and Hall are called up to the squad.

If England top the group and are playing on the Sunday it will be at 7pm.

Living in Weston super Mare I am pleased that the three teams promoted with us are all from the South West and easy to get to. Also we have Cheltenham and Plymouth. Planning to go to Wycombe, Oxford and Portsmouth also. So my first thoughts seeing that we are playing Exeter on 6th August was good, but then I thought the M5 is often like a car park on peak holiday season Saturdays and it could be worse than normal if the railways are still on strike.  Could be a tricky journey for us locals and a potential nightmare for fans travelling from Stoke.

Some nice shortish journeys from where I am (Surrey). Christmas fixtures could've been better.

Not sure what Ipswich's away support is like but it's going ot be reduced if they have to come here on a Tuesday night. Also, don't know if I've been gormless for the last few decades but are midweek games always for both the home and away fixtures?

Hi @wurzel valiant as I've said earlier on the thread - now I'm moving back to the West Country it would be good to meet up with some fellow SW-based fans. I should be going to the same West County away games as you so do feel to get in touch if you want to catch up before/during/after the game (or ignore me if you'd rather not!!! )  Likewise, I'll send you over a message or two a bit closer to the games themselves.
