Just been looking at the teams around us and we, along with Exeter, probably have the hardest run-in, with 5 of our games against teams in the top 10.  Northampton only have 2 to play (Mansfield and Exeter) as do Swindon (Newport and Forest Green). We've also got Salford who its never easy against and Walsall who will be well up for it. It's do-able but I don't feel as optimistic as I did on Saturday evening.

Mr H. We need to play the top teams because when we play what are deemed to be lesser teams through their league position, we struggle to up our performance.

I'm sure I read somewhere the season's over ?

BHF, TBH I’m one of those that thought our season was over and couldn’t see us performaning as well as we have in our last two games. I’m more optimistic ATM but think that tomorrow nights game, is the bigger one of the two as expectations are getting higher. Just wish we hadn’t left so much for ourselves to do.

Dunner stress. Mrs Philmpv asked her angel cards last night, at my request, whether Vale would be going up this season. She drew 2 yes cards, which apparently means absolutely yes (so automatics is my interpretation). Lump on now guys, you heard it here first

Not true if you look at the results. Average about 2 points a game against teams in the bottom half whereas it's roughly 1.3 against the top half. Obviously there's more to it than that but it's a fallacy that we always slip up against the teams we should beat, it just feels like that as it feels more jarring.
