Pardon the pun but I’m going to go out on a a limb and guess that Pope won’t feature this season. In terms of the Morecambe game though you could argue that there is no reason for the team to be changed, especially after 5 wins on the bounce. However Guthrie came on and did well, so that could be a possible change.

After a brilliant and unexpected 5 wins on the trot, we are bound to slip up, only Man. City seem to win every game, the law of averages state a set back is due,however if we do win I for one won't be complaining,one thing I do know is that DC will have them prepared as well as he can and you can't say that has been the case in the recent past.

Like most Vale fans if we turn up and give 100% then that’s ok . At the moment we are our of the traps fast and pressing well DC has us well organised so hopefully we will get a result. Hope we get the rub of the green as they have been very fortunate ten 1 nil wins quite a few pens. I suppose credit to their manager for being up at the top with apparently a very low budget.

I think the advantage is in placing the ball a little further from the flag itself gives a clearer run up and opportunity to wrap your foot around the ball to get some bend on it?

Yep, done really well. I did think I’m preseason that they were making some decent signings but never thought they would do as well as they have.the glaringly obvious fact is we have no depth. I mean they have Ben Pringle who would walk into our midfield and he can’t get a game and leitch smith is arguably better than what we have. Their over all squad it’s better than ours.

Pringle maybe 7 or 8 years ago. He’s done nothing for a few years now, think he had bad injuries

Ahh that makes sense. Still a decent player at this level. Seems to have been available most of the season too. Which again has not been true of our fringe players.

Agree with you100%, it's incredible what they've achieved.

Accrington who are a similar size did it too . Thats what you call a good manager who despite very limited resources out performs.
