Taylor will make a big difference to the side. A very tough game, but we’re capable of getting at least a point. It will have to be all hands on deck . Get into them from the off, close them down , and if it’s level at half time , who knows? 1-1 for me , and that would be fine.  UTV

Enjoyed  that half of football. These are a good side, their movement is excellent, the forwards are coming deep hoping to leave space behind our full backs and Amoo and Worrall have really got to put a shift in as we’ve got overloaded a couple of times if they aren’t switched on to their players making runs off them. That’s happened a couple of times when Monty and Gibbo have pushed a bit with their man and no one has gone with the runner who’s gone behind them. We’ve really put a shift In and deserve the lead, what a great goal and really good work from popey. But pope really should have taken the pressure off us a bit with his one on one chance. They’ve had one good chance where they got behind us and Brown has pulled off a great save but other than that I think the back 4 have played well defensively. My only gripe would be use of the ball, gibbos got caught with a heavy touch twice and Monty hasn’t had any composure on the ball, but that’s nitpicking because I think Swindon are decent. We just need to tighten it up with their runners and I really worry that Amoo has a tendency to switch off when a player runs off him. Equally the midfield 3 have got to cover a lot of ground in front of the back 4 to help out.

Wonder if JA and co will actually use more than 1 sub in the 2nd half.  Expect Swindle to throw everything at Vale in the 2nd half.  Showed how dangerous they are in the last 10 minutes.

Great to see us 1 up and sounds like we have played well so far.

Robbie Vanderlaan talking tactics and said about changing line up to allow midfield not to be over run by putting someone else in there.  Wonder if JA will think about this sort of thing today. 🙄

Pope's chance was frustrating, goalie either goes down at the feet or he stands up, unfortunately he stood up and Popey went high and he saved it, damn.
