Get in there Vale.  Jake gets another goal.  Would finish a good year for Vale if they can sign him permanently.

What is happening to Vale.  Play great against top teams and teams below seem to play rubbish.

Can we have another couple please from Pope and Worrall.

To think this is his first experience of league football. How good will he be after another years experience.

Surely it has to be at the Vale. History is littered with similar players who went elsewhere, couldn’t get the game time and never progressed.

It’s tough against any team that effectively park the bus. We’re at our best on the counter, no doubt about that. It’s good when the opponents actually have some attacks to counter.

You would think they would have practiced and learnt how to change the style of play when teams park the bus.  The team has the quality but just seems only able to play one way when teams do stack the penalty area.

The Askey Plan, build a team capable of staying up in L1, but also needs to break down L2 teams.

Well yes of course, we will practice it, but you can bet teams like Stevenage spend every week practising their ‘style’ of play.
