Aspins future to be decided.............

This is getting almost as boring as being at Vale Park on a Saturday afternoon. Either he's going or he's staying. Bl**dy soap opera.

I fear Smurf will sack him at five minutes to midnight tomorrow, thus giving the new boss AMPLE of time to spend Smurfs transfer 'War chest'.....

I may be wrong but I haven’t heard “Get out of our club” sung to Neil ,at home matches.Poor form if so.I suppose Rudgey will be on his toes aswell.Sad day if it happens.ONE NEIL ASPIN!!!!

Are you Pizzd? Great, great player sadly awful manager. He should have been gone in December after any of the trouncings we had.

Have you read this forum as a sample size.

Aside from you and Howjy how many more want him to stay?

It’s really sad but he just can’t produce through the players he’s signed and the budget he’s wasted.

Very few expected promotion but surely upper mid-table abd attractive football with the odd goal every once in a while?

I would keep aspin until season end then take stock, unless anyone waiting in the wings is ready to hit the ground running and be allowed to bring in a few players they want and what we need dont see alot of point now in changing..

Aspins signings which are his havent done too badly , legge brown hannant, manny..a few less than ave conlon joyce ....what we dont know is what crap he has to deal with from those above and restrictions he has....my guess is if aspin targets staying in the league above performance then this fails when we lose a lot but understand the reasoning if this is an intentional style because of player limitations or restrictions(eg not having to payout performance related bonus)..however if this isnt the case then he needs to go end of season

Of all the ex-players he’s he one I most wanted to do well. Such a shame really. Puts me in mind of listening to praise and grumble sometime before Christmas and Denis Smith was talking about why he never took the Stoke job. In a way I wish Aspin had the same viewpoint about not coming back as manager.

**** off.

Eloquently put mate 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Real prime minister in the making you.

Let me know when Aspins stops t bagging you and you can have an adult conversation.

If you read the reply to your message Aspin is a great player. I’m gutted it hasn’t worked for him but it hasn’t. Sadly he has been lacking in all departments , AS A MANAGER!

So first you asked someone if they are drunk then make what are inappropriate sexual comments and you claim to be holding the moral high ground,

Grow up

Lord there are some delicate people on here. Not taking any moral high ground.

Awful day for all vale fans, another great has tried and failed. The circumstances with the resignation are typical of everything vale, shambolic.

I was just responding to a message that challenged my difference of opinion. Same as I would do face to face.

I just find it amazing that people can still justify Aspins credentials as a manager, imo. And would question that they are doing so out of loyalty to the great player he was and not the manager he is.
