I've got that horrible feeling too, like the bubble of expectation will pop because we've been seeing signs of encouragement to raise our hopes!

If we're genuinely going to be top half this season we need four points from the next two games. Three would indicate mid table, one bottom half and none ..... well !!

 

Pretty bizzare last paragraph.

That's the beauty of football I guess.

Especially with a newly put together team.

We've just had a decent 4 game run, on the back of 3 defeats.

I reckon it could be up and down all season, depending on injuries, suspensions and many other variables.

That's the nature of mid table, which is the most likely outcome and big progress.

We seem to be moving in the right direction.

No mean feat after two dreadful seasons.

Feeling optimistic. A win today and again on Sat. will see us in the play off positions.

I am also, I've been impressed with most of the games this season, a big improvement on last season. Vale are stronger in all areas, we're are on the right track.

 

Vale will win tonight.

Wonder if Kanu will start for Miller after Saturday? May be worth seeing if that partnership clicks with Pope on the assumption Pope won’t be risked in say the Checkatrade games?

 

Why? Based on he scored the goal? Not being negative, but besides standing the right place at the right time, he didn't exactly set the world on fire, did he :wink:
