Shirt and kit

Danish Valiant

Absolutely no idea where some of you have gotten leather from. It just looks like normal sewn fabric. What is interesting though is there's a charcoal/silver border around the crest. It's difficult to tell whether the BLK logo is a printed transfer or sewn.

I reckon the real kit will look something along the lines of this then?

Think you could be close mate with that

Take the silly yellow stripe out, then it's not so bad..

Doubtless too late now.

I like the amber detail when used around the collar, sleeves etc, but I think it looks mucky when used in the kit like this.

Disgusting and disappointing.

With BLK I expected something simple yet classy, with maybe a nice grandad-collar, but this looks like the usual unimaginative tat that football fans have sadly come to expect year upon year.

I'll give it a miss thanks.

I've long since stopped wearing football shirts myself (although I've got a Malta shirt somewhere in my wardrobe) so for me the important thing is how the players look - and more importantly feel - in them.

Brian Clough changed Derby's traditional black shorts for navy blue 'to make the players feel as though they were playing for England' he said, although what Bruce Rioch and Archie Gemmill made of that is anyone's guess. The point is that there is a psychological effect on players when they wear the right - or wrong - kit.

I just hope the ones making the decision at Vale choose wisely.

You haven’t even seen the proper shirt yet. That mock up is still missing stuff.

I must have missed something here, is this mock up based on some evidence of what the shirt will actually be like or is it pure speculation?

It started out as a guess as to what’s it’s going to be like but some of the details on it are pretty much right.
