I have had Vale to win in an acca that is looking good so far and could net me enough to pay Popeys wage for a week (well nearly!)

 

So that means we will lose!

Looking objectively at today's team, it just shows the limitations of the squad Aspin has had to deal with if he thinks this is his best side. A centre half at right back, a winger at left back, two midfielders with a combined age of virtually 70 (Tonge will be 35 in a week's time) and two target men upfront. Doesn't look good and I can't see this side beating Chesterfield (who, as I write, are featuring in the week's best performance on Sky for their win over Notts County). We will be too slow in midfield and predictable all over the pitch. Just hope I'm eating a big piece of humble pie at 5 o'clock!

Set up to draw and not loose, but the midfield will get over run due to no pace.

 

Just hope the back four and boot are in sync with each other, feel they are going to be the key today to not loosing by a couple of goals.

 

Would love Pope to get the match ball today - you never know.
