I thought Barnett struggled being the second striker yesterday, picking up the second balls isn’t really his game and he didn’t know what runs to make. But he should have made more of a nuisance of himself. He had to attack that knock down from Pope a bit earlier and just toe it in, not let it run across his body and sit up like it did.

Agree with that.Technically ,Barnett is better in the air but Pope does the roughing up better.One or the other,not both.Having said that Tyrone did cause problems for their defenders for Vale’s first goal.

To be fair, if you go to the next page someone posts the clips of the fouls. They absolutely slate their player for the elbow, calling him a coward and a disgrace, no love lost for him there. And they question lester’s comments about the ref. For a fans forum which are always going to be biased, I think the comments are pretty fair.

A great win for us should see us safe but you never know in football,Barnet are 1/5 to go down but if you could pick 6 remaining fixtures to give you a chance of a miracle escape you would want there remaining games,Stevenage,Chesterfield,Grimsby,Morecombe,Newport and forest green.

I don't agree with Lester..... I can't honestly think of an undeserved decision that Vale got all afternoon. There were plenty the other way!

 

Having said that, if the Vale fans did have some influence, then I'm proud of being part of that.

6 games involving the bottom 4 playing each other.Points in the bag are a must,now.I think the bottom 2,as of now,will go down.I’m not convinced we need any more points.Having said that,beating the Paedos on Monday would be nice.

See he’s the ref for PNE v Derby on Sky today - thought someone said he had been demoted. Just given PNE a dodgy penalty, however they missed it.
