You are out of your mind if you believe that we have two strikers with pace on our books. Every striker that we possess is either a sicknote or just plain rubbish. Tom Pope hasn't only scored 15 goals but has a high level of assists to his name this season. I was one of the few who believed in Tom from the start of the season while others said he was 'past it', unfit or just too slow. He may be slow but he is majestic in the air and with a decent pacey strike partner and good service from the wings would be good enough to lead our front line for several years to come. Players lose their pace but not their aerial ability and for anyone who doubts my words why are so many of our Premiership clubs fighting for ageing target men like Croach and the Swede at M U? Simply because they still have their aerial ability.

For goodness sake Tom Pope is one of our few 'rays of sunshine' at a very dismal period of time.
