If you could offer Aspin one piece of of advice..... what would it be?

Which one? The No 16 today absolutely bossed the midfield and the No 17 looked a very good Target man. I don’t think we’ll ever score past Charles-Cooke tbh.

I assume you meant Dembele who is head and shoulders above anyone in our league.

I did mean Dembele. How did Grimsby manage to net him? He reminded me of Andoh

Central midfield and goalkeeper are obvious major problems. These are individual player / personnel problems, not team work problems. That said central midfield limitations can be tolerated until the window, keeper problem can't be tolerated ever.

Do whatever it takes to sign a quality, experienced,, injury free goalkeeper in January, keep Lainton in cotton wool as back up. The current goalkeeping situation at PVFC is farcical, it's akin to a pub team.

Please sort this out or it will cost Vale big time.

I would say that long ball is utter crap. It is a hopeless clueless tactic. Yesterday was probably the worst I have seen Vale perform in 30 years of supporting us. If we are to lose abysmally like that, then we we may as well play football until we get it right. Hoof and hope worked with Stoke and Stockport back in the day as they had dirty players. We are lightweight and have no chance with that one. I am watching at 2am every Sunday morning and I think I need some more entertainment. Up the Vale, I would have taken 3 wins from the last five. A little disappointing after last weeks result. Ce la vie!!

Ifi could askAspo anything it would be this .

How can a team who have just played splendidly and had goal attempts galore in 3 previous games go from that to what we witnessed yesterday which was horrific in the main .

Was it complacency or because like i thought lost because of poor goalkeeping and poor character once Swindon took the lead .

If so how we address that as 10 defeats this season already says its a recurring problem .

Yesterday is gone i dont expect c a performance like that again .

Players seemed to me especially the attacking players like they were not up for it .
