Sat here in Tashkent watching it on ifollow and I cannot believe how bad the football is. Two poor sides at the moment. Now I've got black and white eyeballs and will the support the club whoever is in charge because until Brown is sacked or replaced he IS the Boss, presume that makes me a Happy Clapper?......BUT I just cannot see how we are going to score. Whack it up to Popey..it bounces off him and is picked up by them. Davies and Gunning "clip it" down the line and back it comes...I saw better Ansells Sunday League games up Sneyd in the 70's. Frustrated and bored to say the least. Needs 2 up front and bleeding go at them because they are there for the taking if you ask me...COME ON VALE!

I hope the master plan isn't to try and hoof our way out of this league with a Pulis like mentality. At least with Adams we were using Pope to his strengths by getting decent crosses in from the wingers. I'd like to see a bit more energy down the flanks from the full backs too, with players like Denton and Gibbons getting up and down. But by the looks of this Brown is going to be very conservative to say the least.

We were lower middle table under Glover, we are currently trying to stave off our second consecutive relegation in all honesty at the moment.

Yeah I am. Don't think we've been bad at all first half. Laboured a bit yeah, but limited them to zero shots, they don't look a threat. Get Turner on to partner pope, we can hopefully push on and get a clean sheet and a win.

 

This is league 2. I don't know what champagne football you were expecting. I'd liken this performance so far as a one similar to rob page.

Browns tactics make Rob Page look gung-ho. Last season under Brown was the worst, most unattractive football I've seen in 30 years of following Vale. Sounds as though it has continued right on this season.
