Synectic Solutions make bid to buy PVFC

Norman will not sell our club for that price and I'm sure Synectics know this already.

Genuine question. If you are who you say you are, why do you care? You're not a Vale fan.

Tell your old man to sell the club to Synetics for a fair price.

£1.25 million is a bid to show their intent and to crank up the pressure on NS. They know it'll be rejected but they'll have more fans onside. If you were in NS position, would you cut a loss and sell up for £1.25m? I guess it depends how much we're losing as a club week-on-week.

Don't get me wrong, if NS wants to accept I'd be more than happy for him to but realistically it won't happen. Were the "valuations" of £3m-£4m being banded around do I recall?

Based on this below, NS price is a joke, Pompey are 5 times the club we are.

Full houses most weeks in League 2, yes they had issues but this is a massive club yet in the grand scheme of things 5.6 million is not that much more than Smurf wants.

I doubt that Norman will just write off the directors loan.

Interesting snippet in the Sentinel piece that struck me. In response to a question asking about the £800,000 a year Norman claims to have put into the club, Carol Shanahan responds: "That's a figure I can't validate." I believe Synectics saw the books last year when they made their orignal bid. Makes you wonder.

Fair price and reason for it. Smurf won't sell, he wants his money back. He will just sit in the background, let the club pay for itself with a very low budget and take back any sales from players, purses from cup runs until he gets his money back. Unfortunately this will take a very long time.

Colin Garlick said last night that Norman wanted to sell to a buyer who would be in the best interests of the club. It strikes me that Synectics, a hugely successful local company on the doorstep with a skill set that would serve the club very well and a determination to make Vale the heart of the Burslem community, would be just the sort of buyer who would fit the bill. If he doesn't consider selling to them we will know for certain, as will Mr Garlick, that Norman is talking out of his bottom and he only wants to sell in the best interests of Norman Smurthwaite.

Norman, this is your chance to recover some of the fans goodwill you have so stupidly chucked down the drain in recent years. Take it.
