My thoughts on Eagles is that he could do well for us especially on the wide open spaces of Vale Park. Accy's is a small pitch and although in better shape than previous years I wouldn't be surprised if it was still very bobbly on the wings, negating the strengths of a player like eagles. I do remember very well how he ran us ragged when we played Burnley at Turf Moor. Welcome to Vale Park. I look forward to watching to watching him at our next away game.

Scunthorpe 111 x 73 vs Vale Park 114 x 77 how many inches make a difference?

You don't know of the circumstances why he was released it could be that they are in a bit of a precarious position down at he foot of the 2 nd division and could prob bring in 2-3 players for Eagles wage at the club

Hasn't he only played twice ?

This is the same Wildes who when it came down to it had .... no money. He wastesaid a few hundred k a season keeping us afloat.

...and our intelligent chairman was taken in by this fraudster.

Another one to add to the growing list of reasons why NS is unfit to run the club.

Unless they are successful, then the chairman will want the credit.

Also, as JJ Vale says, I too would be interested to hear the good things that he has done, although I would add financing the signing of Lee Hughes to his list of 2.

I wouldn't, personally I think that's the worst decision he made.

Positives off the top of my head;

Promotion

Competitive budgets

Club shop

Ticketing system fiasco sorted

Kit manufacturer

Kit sponsor

How do you know that then oh wise one? I strongly suspect that he was told just how much he could offer as a salary.

As I wrote in my previous post which you choose to omit I hope that Eagles does prove to be a successful signing.

Of course he was, that's budgets for you, he will be set one and work to it, well he will until it's his own business and he spends money how he sees fit.

You also ran Eagles down without knowing his circumstances or watching him play.

Promotion - made possible by the signing of Lee Hughes.

Competitive budgets - wasted by his insistence of spending most of it himself on *****.

Club shop - have we paid for it yet then?

Ticketing fiasco - he made a **** up as CEO, then corrected it. Fingers crossed he corrects everything else he's ****** up now.

Kit manufacturer - wasn't that Adams?

Kit sponsor - as above?

Looking at it like that, I reckon Bill Bratt probably had more successes than him!

My Mrs reckons you get your inches confused with millimeters. Ticketing fiasco sorted? Nope, it's a right pain getting a ticket. Particularly if you don't live in the area.

She did do a lot of moaning that's for sure!

Well at least it isn't costing the club an absolute arm and a leg as the one was with Wildes. What's the problem with getting a ticket outside the area?

I'd completely disagree Lee Hughes got us promoted, he was sadly a part of it.

Competitive budgets spending it himself? He's signed Forrester only this season and remind me whose mates were resigned in the summer of 2015, they weren't the chairmans, he was raging!

The rest we could argue all day about (Adams was a factor) but some people don't like him and will find a negative in everything he does and give him credit for nothing and others will see the positives and negatives in him.

I'd rather have him than any incarnation of the scum that was v2001 and bringing any aspect of them into it devalues your argument as he's hardly brought the club to its knees and misappropriated innocent and genuine fans money has he?
