Cheap Oldham tickets

Come to think of it, this must be one of the cheapest away days (at £15.00) in ages.

 

Wouldn't it do the side wonders to see a big Vale following at Oldham....so this offer should have been plugged big-time by the PA guy.

Whos says its dearer on the day? I was going drive this one me self due to it been cheap for me and kids.

 

edit: Just seen on Vale website its still £5.00 for kids on the day, but £20 on day for me. Also just says Tickets will then be on sale until the 30th of December from the Ticket Office and after that date, fans will be able to purchase tickets on the day of the game, no mention of the 2pm deadline.

It may well be that unsold tickets have to be returned by post on the Friday afternoon, but equally people may defer purchase until their Friday visit. Poor communication riles supporters.

The cut off time is always 2pm on the Friday even for a match the following day, i.e. Saturday, the galling thing here is the game is not until Monday and there was 4000 customers arriving at the ground just 5/6 hours after the cut off time. I have no marketing experience whatsoever but even to me it's obvious the time should have been extended until 1/2 an hour after the game, or at least till ko time.ps this is not sour grapes on my part as I got my ticket 2weeks ago

Just the two turnstiles open in the Railway stand too- one for season ticket holders, one for match tickets even though they just scan the barcodes regardless of what type of ticket you have. We once again had the ridiculous situation of season ticket holders having a long queue while the match day ticket turnstile was completely empty.

 

A total shambles.I considered turning around and going back the pub.

Here's some examples of how useless they are;

 

1) the total absence of any marketing for season-ticket renewals

2) the offer of half-season tickets being released just days before Xmas (I'd love to know the sales figures for this gem)

3)the total failure to promote the £12 FA Cup tickets this season

 

 

I'll ask again.....what EXACTLY do they do all week?!!

Not been able to buy a home top in medium for the last month. Tweeted Smurf and he said he'd sort it then never got back to me. Don't think the club wants to make any money!

the club still hasn't published details about the charity auction held months ago, about how much was made,was it enough and if so did the little girl get the treatment she needed or was the auction ever held. the club needs a root and branch sort out of the commercial,merchandising and customer support side,go in the shop and ask a question they phone someone point you towards the offices to wait around for half an hour in a crematorium like building until someone prises themselves out of their chair to see you, more life in carmountside.

??? Are you insinuating that the Vale staff are capable of totalling the number of tickets sold, packaging the ones unsold and putting all this info into a package suitable to be put in the post on Friday the 30th of December to get to Oldham in time for the Match on Monday the 2nd of January ....... It would take that time for the staff to just put everything into a cloth bag and take it to Oldahm and hand it over on match day.

Just go into the ticket office and look at the staff on display - dynamic - go getters - achievers - can-do....... All words that do not apply to what you see ..... Employ monkeys and you should not be surprised to see them licking salt of their nuts ! Even the females of the species.
