FA Cup Rallying Call!

The bigger issue for me is how has something as massive as this been kept quiet by so many for so long?

Because we, as a society, don't want to face the reality that sexual abuse is endemic.

So we all ignore what we see, whilst those with power manipulate mercilessly.

Slowly, thankfully, this is changing and can no longer be ignored.

The lid is coming off.

I'm surprised at 1k sold actually...surely most people pay on the day for this sort of game.

Yes probably will, which is part of the ticket only argument meaning fans have either got to make two journeys or stand in a que outside the ticket office for half an hour.

A tenner in advance and £12 on the day would have been a win/win solution all round.

I'm really disappointed at the promotion of this excellent offer. Something has got to change at Vale from within.

They had guys with boxes of preprinted tickets standing about before the last Cup game against Stevenage grabbed one from them, saved queuing and all for the same price that the official ticket office were selling them:smile:

Doesnt that negate the argument made about cash turnstiles?

Wasnt that argument about not being able to trust staff with cash?

Why are fans moaning about getting a ticket to watch vale if you go to a music festival, or see your favourite band you have to buy in advance, to watch some films in a cinema you have to buy tickets same with the theatre, and loads of other places, go to your local pub/club for new year party you might need a ticket to get in, the trouble is vale fans don't want to put them selves out if the chairman said he will open all the exit gates before the game so you could just walk in some of you would still moan

People on here must have A levels in whinging, for the record I went to get my ticket yesterday, the staff were good and it was all done quickly. Just pack up moaning and get down on Sunday please.

I've got my ticket, and will be there on Sunday not missed a game yet this season home or away, but the point is I've had to go to VP twice to attend one match.

Is there a good reason why tickets for cup games can't be bought online? Seems strange when surely there is more uptake with season ticket holders needing to buy also, still can't see what was wrong with cash on the gate myself!

Had a similar experience for a cup game last season, couldn't get up in the week and tickets were not available online, arrived about 25 mins before Start of match and there was a queue of approx 20 people outside ticket office in rain, member of staff then came along the queue selling tickets for cash, then queued again at Turnstile in rain only to find out his scanner couldn't scan the ticket so he just ripped it and let me through leaving me thinking what was the point of the ticket office and all ticket policy? I used to just walk to turnstiles and get in no problems paying cash. Luckily I'm a regular but first timers or casual fans may just have walked away.

The click of the turnstile is very comforting, and would be missed.
