Got to be 2 up front, dread to think the reaction if he plays 1 up front at home to a side who have lost both of their first 2 games 1-3 at home. Cicilia & Hooper to start for me, same defence as Bradford game too.

Was hoping for a 6k plus crowd for first home game, but the damper been put on that after Tuesday's nights show.so are we looking at 5k now. Very disappointed if that's the case. It's now the lads need our support, keep the faith, together we can achieve our aim.

Although with him liking 4-3-3 I wouldn't be suprised if he goes with the same team as bradford. Depending on how good the loan striker is he may come in too if he arrives before Saturday.

Can't quite see knops as a wingback but 3-5-2 seemed to work towards the end of last year. Don't think bruno will play it though

Nor do I. I agree that knopps isn't a wing back but I think he could be fine there until we have cover / kiko

I'm prepared to give Bruno and the team more than 1.6% of the season before I make a judgement.

Southend on a bad run so expect them to prioritise keeping a clean sheet so we should attack attack attack then we may be able to see how good or bad our strikers are cus up to now I've no idea.

That makes them all the more dangerous, and the need is top guard against a defensive display where they breakaway and win 1-0. We do have form for being charitable to teams on a bad run, so we should treat them as if they had won their last 5 games !

 

Not sure if it is worth picking a team when the chairman tells us we could sign up to 4 more players tomorrow - the defence probably won't change much but a winger and a striker might change the whole outlook.

 

6 points from this and next Tuesday's home match against Rochdale could make the season look very different indeed and quieten even the biggest pessimists.
