I think he wants 400 people there as he sees that as i wide variety of Vale fanbase and i guess he will say about them having money to buy the club and ground but would then have to just use what comes in as they dont have anymore funding,if fans want him to sell then he will if they want him to stay then he will

Scary reading mate. Especially the one about an Italian club going bankrupt so many days after he brought it.

Of course the info about the bloke being involved is 3rd hand info, however several have confirmed as him.

The diff this time is apparently he is only the broker not the buyer.

Sounds like ****** Walter Mitty or that conman Peter Miller.

Is it a case of better the devil you know.

The prospective purchasers don't exist, of that I am very confident. There is no offer on the table, there never has been. It is Smurthwaite trying to get people to rally around him because it feeds his massive ego. In reality, he has built up a portfolio of pretty worthless businesses in financial terms and has run out of ideas with what to do with them. As before, either fund it to a stage where they are no longer worthless or cut your losses and get out.

So if he stays will he have a plan of action to move us forward? or are we just going to be treading water looks like a cop out to me and if there is a show of hands I will be abstaining as all the facts will not be known as there will be confidentiality agreements in place.

Correct.He will only tell part of the story.How can the opinion of 400 fans represent the whole fan base?But we can only wait and see what happens,what is said on the night.How long will it be before he contradicts himself again?I and many others only want what is best for the club.

exactly, personally think the whole story isnt being told, it makes no sense, hope some common sense heroes stand up at the meeting to get the truth out.
