A real spanking today ! As said typical Vale good gate good chance to progress pants ! I suppose it just shows the benifit of a team no great stars but top of the league for a reason , we have been well and truly shown a lesson today ! Hope we can learn from it !

Bunch of bottlers and a team going absolutely nowhere. Today has been an embarrassment and Burton have well and truly showed us what can be accomplished with a good manager and a proper footballing team that work their socks off for each other and have belief.

I was half expecting this after the Posh game.

 

Let's face it, unless their defence hadn't been pants we'd have lost that game 2-0. Burton are well organised, well drilled and haven't forgotten that we spanked them 7-1 at our place the season before last. This is partly sweet revenge, partly chickens coming home to roost for Vale who in my opinion just aren't ready.

 

We could bounce back and make a decent fist of the rest of the season. Or we could collapse and finish mid table. I'm undecided which way it will go. Let's put it this way, I'd sooner be us than Crewe.
