Walsall 2 Port Vale 0. post match comments

Having watched that it seems to me that the Vale as team only lasted 65 minutes and some of them are over weight and a number of them are not fit enough.

Grant and O'Connor are definitely not fit, whether this is because O'Connor is coming back from injury I don't know but Grant was walking for the last 20 minutes and out of the game.

Yates is not good enough and is not suitable as a left back and can't cross the ball.

Leith Smith worked really hard but the Vale don't seem to worked out how to quickly support him.

In my view we need to sort out the level of fitness and the coaching is not adequate. Despite this the linesman gave Walsall a goal.

In fairness, Yates did nothing wrong today.

Interesting to hear his post match comments - he thought we played well and didn't get the tub of the green. I think it's time to look elsewhere for a loan centre forward - Uche has lost form and offers little.

If the Chairman wants to recoup money he certainly isn't going to be investing in a striker

Uche needs to start matches if we want him to shine. Lets get the man match fit again.

I honestly dont think we deserved to lose that, ok we were not a massive threat, but we are not as bad as some are saying. We were playing the top team and a mistake (grant and the linesman) cost us. Their second was a good goal take nothing away from that.

They weren't a top team though, Walsall were bang average. With a little more positivity and concentration, we could have beaten them at a canter. This season would have been our best opportunity to make a drive for promotion, as this division is awful, but we've settled in for our usual mid-table dross already.

Dire again away from home. We huff and puff but are error prone at one end(how ever well we defend for periods) and toothless at the other.

Page's interview sums him up, **** off back to the valleys! Useless uninspiring dross!

Page believes keeping us up will be a success so he'll be happy with today
