Has Norman had enough

Student of the game

Recommended Posts

What I said was correct. Ta

So to summarise

Mr Hobblecobble's rules

1. You can only post on match threads if you've seen the game

2. You can only post on NON MATCH THREADS if the team have won.

3. If the team have lost Mr Hobblecobble will devise a new rule to stop you posting on NON MATCH THREADS.

I suggest for the third time you check your facts.

I must be getting famous if I have a troll.:razz::nailbiting:

I've not said that you can't post on threads about games you've not been to, I do it quite a bit. I've not even tried to tell anyone when and where they can post. What I (and many others) have done is point out that you generally only post on here following a defeat. We've just gone 4 league games unbeaten and I think there was one post during that spell. However, we're knocked out of the cup and you post more than you have done for ages. You always do this. Time and time again, defeat means you popping up to have a go at Page yet a decent result yields diddlysquat. I don't know why you're even trying to debate this, it's obvious to everyone. If there's anyone trolling on here, it's you trolling Page.

Even though I agree with what you originally said about the management situation. How do you manage to upset so many people seemingly on every subject you post on? You must have either been born with this facility or you've just practiced hard in the intervening years?

I save my silver tongued charm for the ladies.

It is high time we got rid of the idea of the FA Cup as a potential money spinner and regarded it for what it is - one of the finest (and toughest) competitions in football. The highly successful Wimbledon team who rose from nothing never budgeted for any gate money never mind cup success.

Just seen Normans Tweets about not being the man to take the club forward. This is more worrying than the Page debate. Think Page should feel very shamed tonight.

Smurf is frustrated and with good reason. Pumped ample money and time into the club and rightly expects rewards to suit.

RP and the players have let Smurf and the fans down big time.

I can accept losing, but find it hard to accept not giving 100%.

Smurf is the right man to take us forward and has done wonders in his time here. Got more right than wrong and has genuine passion for 'our great club'.

RP too negative, to down beat (one striker, sit far too deep, punching above our weight, retained list,...)

Despite what we think about Gannon on here, at least his team

put in a great shift on Sat. at Northampton. Some of the Vale players spend too much time looking at themselves in the mirror. Cheadle , Leake, Aspin, etc wouldn't stand for that . Page should never have been appointed manager in the first place. He's a coach , simple as that. As for Smurf, he should conduct his business in a more professional way. Always keep a little bit of distance Norman. I doubt that Bill Bell ever went on a bus and let fly in front of the fans like that. Our southern neighbours

must be rolling around laughing.

Bill bell was too busy wondering how many biscuits he could take out of the tin.

Why has the other thread been closed??

Smurf has consistently said for the past two years that he is open to offers for the club and would sell it to the right person who could take the club forward. So essentially there is nothing new here.

The worrying aspect is Norman's health and no doubt a wife and family behind the scenes urging him to give it up. I don't know...I despair at times, it's hard work following Vale and at times I think we've all questioned why we do it.
