Well done Maindenhead you did your homework and never gave up. Your fans must be over the moon.

 

Not sure what happened in the 2nd half. Again Vale players thinking this was going to be an easy afternoons work. Smurf is now got to be thinking about changing the manager now. Again it shows we need a striker who can score. Uche is just not cutting it when he comes on as he just wants to bulldozer through players.

 

Not looking forward to the replay. Away and on a Tuesday. Two omens.

It's a pretty poor show whichever way you look at it. Not being able to put away our chances, not being able to defend their one solitary effort on target, or more alarmingly not having the fitness or know-how to see the game out against what, I'm assuming, is essentially a bunch of part-timers. I think I would be cancelling the day off tomorrow and asking each player to analyse his own performance. Not good enough.
