I don't believe you.

I dont care

I have a pay as you go mobile, I dont use £40 a year, no internet access.

I dont travel with a laptop. The only access I get is if I borrow someones computer, at their house.

In the three weeks a year or so Im over I have far too much to do and little time to do it. I get to games if I can fit them in which means last minute decisions and changing things around to do it.

I am one of the exiled Valiants (live circa 180 miles from Burslem).

Whenever I am come back for a home league game I usually ask either my Parent's or one of my mates to sort a ticket out from the Vale ticket office in the week leading upto the game. Job done. It isn't too difficult ya know.

I think people need to move into the 21st Century a little faster if they are moaning and whinging about brining back the cash turnstyles to make their lives easier.

Apologies for going off on a tangent.

Well last season at this time Lee Powers owner of Swindon did a rallying call support or players will depart

It worked for him guess it will not for me

Norm, there are in my opinion a number of reasons why your rallying call won't work like it did at Swindon, the first one being that most people in the catchment area of our club me included are that poor we are eating dust, there just isn't the money there was in the 90s, the pot banks have all gone, the pits and steel the same and nothing other than minimum wage or benefits has come to replace them.

Every other person you speak to are Man Utd, Liverpool etc fans without ever going to see a game, we can blame Sky for that one.

I can watch Premier football a few miles up the road for virtually the same price ( I wouldn't if you paid me but some would and do )

The rallying call for supporters is a one shot chance it will happen once but you do it every season as well as berating stay away fans, not the best way to get them back.

Away fans don't like coming to Vale park due to the knuckle dragging image of a significant minority of our support.

I arnt a businessman and don't have any answers but sometimes things are best kept quiet, constantly harping on about how much the club is costing you doesn't help any ones morale, players included and you are unfortunately becoming known as a comedy figure among many lower league clubs supporters.

Please can we just concentrate on the football from now on.

Im not asking smurf to do anything special for me just stating simple facts.

Some things are simple for most people, thats not all just most.

Your circumstances sound genuinely sad and I'm not going to start quizzing you but how difficult would it be just to pop in to The Crown before the match? The bit below isn't about you, BTW

Isn't supporting a team about forming some kind of partnership? We have a chairman who annually puts more money in than any other chairman has ever done, yet people complain about having to queue at the ticket office? NS has then tried to meet half way by getting a couple of local pubs to sell tickets before the game but people still moan? In extremem cases I can appreciate this may be difficult but for the other 99%, it's not really a valid excuse for not attending a match. If you just can't be arsed or don't want to , fair enough. Just stop blaming it on not being able to pay at the turnstiles.

Cant believe we are still debating about cash turnstiles!! some people just dont want to move with the times

Who hasn't had to queue for anything in this day and age to say you dont want to go because you dont want to queue is really laughable!!!

In that respect then you also won't be

Queuing to do the weekly shop at the checkouts!

Queuing to fill up your car with petrol!

Queuing to bank or take out money at a cash point or teller or pay bills!

Queuing at a post office!

Queuing up in shops to pay for items

Queuing on the phone to utility companies/phone companies/complaints dept(probably to complain that they've waited over 30 mins listening to really annoying music)

You get where this is going!!! we have to queue in every walk of life to do anything its what the british do best!!!

Stop moaning about it and get in line!!!

Serious question; has anyone personally not attended a game because they didn't want to get a ticket in advance?

I don't attend half as many home games as I'd like but that is mostly down to the fact that I don't live in the area anymore. When I am back in the area, the fact that I need to queue up for a ticket, buy in advance or pop in to one of the local pubs to get one is not of the slightest significance and I am honestly staggered that someone would be deterred by having to do this.

One thing I would say is that opening just one cash turnstile is pointless. It should be either all or nothing.

Leave the Season Ticket turnstiles alone. I dont like to queue.

Its not sad mate its what it is, its life from my perspective.

Popping into the crown would first need a pop into burslem and prior to that [on quite a few occasions] a pop into stoke on trent, and on some occasions a pop into staffordshire... some things are higher on my priority list than visiting vale park, financial, medical, legal and family business will always take priority... those are the reasons I come back, they have to be dealt with within a time frame that doesnt keep me away from home longer than necessary.

Correct... I dont

I dont queue at airports either... priority check in, priority security and immigration, priority boarding and lounge access where you help yourself for free... I have queued on thai roads but I have been known to pull over at the nearest hotel and stay until the traffic diminishes, but then I try to avoid traveling on thai holidays.

You can just go in before the game.
