I thought the ceiling was a bit low for a function room due to the sloping ground the stand is built on but it will be good to see a bit more of the stand finished.

A 'proper' pub with big screens showing the pre-match game would be excellent but real ales are a must.

I know it's slightly off topic but smurf could we not put the seat in to the lorne street(maybe get cheap ones from a club that's moving) the put big adverts on them, like the staffs uni in the family stand, it would give the ground a finished look and then when the time comes finish the concourse. May make the ground more attractive to sponsorship

Well as l have come to learn nothing is straight forward and always expensive a Vale

The bulbs alone are £750 plus vat plus housing switch gear wiring and labour

A lot of fans underestimate what is involved here but at least we have started

Is there a problem with the electrical installation on the lorne st stand roof lights? It seems bulbs get replaced but only work for one game then blow in the same 5 housings, expensive at £750 a chuck. Also re the Bycars Lirne st light, if memory serves me well, that was installed before the stand was built.

I'm not sure we would be allowed to but if we do get this Vale pub built would it be possible to replay the whole match on big screens in there? I dare say tv rights won't allow it but it's a way of getting people in after a match cus win lose or draw there's always talking points during a match or something u couldn't quite see to give an opinion on.

The new bulbs in one pylon just showed up how poor our lights really were.

Shame they didn't wait til tomorrow to replace the bulbs... :(

The one pylon that was significantly brighter ended up creating longer, darker shadows across the pitch.
