Here's one Tory boy who is growing a pair -

Shame he's done nothing for his constituents since he was parachuted into this safe seat from the South.

He should swap with Tristram 'the man of the Potteries' Hunt who spends most of time down south and was parachuted into his safe seat.

Jeremy Corbyn was born in Wiltshire, attended a selective boarding school in Shropshire and is only in Islington because of his college education.

I don't think you can read too much into any party parachuting people into certain seats because it's incredibly rare for a person to represent the place they were born and grew up in. All of Labour's Stoke-on-Trent MPs didn't grow up in Stoke. David Cameron stood in Stafford once. Every party do it in some form or another. Look at UKIP and that pompous **** Neil Hamilton.

As a brief aside, apart from Jeremy Corbyn, who else is fighting to get stuff like this sorted?

"Labour's proposal to allow 3,000 unaccompanied child refugees to come to Britain will return to the House of Commons after Conservative MPs voted against it last week.

The House of Lords again voted to put Labour's Lord Dubs' proposal into the Immigration Bill because it is the moral thing to do. 26,000 child refugees entered Europe last year and Europol say 10,000 have gone missing and it's feared this is a result of child trafficking.

David Cameron must respond to this humanitarian cry with a humanitarian response and allow his MPs to do the right thing."

Corbyn seems to be the only one shouting about this and it's shameful that it's not getting more coverage.

Did you miss PMQ's last Wednesday? The Prime Minister did agree to take the 3,000 children--keep up with the news Mr. H.

That's right he's dealing with it,but what's the betting somebody still mentions it tonight at the BAFTA's?

So all the results are in and Labour are down 11 seats to the Tories 49 seats with the projected national share 31% to 30% in Labours favour. Three mayoral victories and two bi-election victories. A loss of 50 seats for JC would have been a success according to the Guardian. No massive victory but just imagine what could be achieved if all the splitters in the PLP could pull in the same direction and we had some balance within our press.

Scotland is a right off due to the New Labour years, not JC making. A generational build is due.

I have lost count at the U turns and defeats this government have had. And we don't have an effective opposition?
