I presume this has something to do with the Millwall game moving a Tuesday night. Brilliant.

 

At the start of the season I scour the fixture list meticulously to see when I can book my holidays without missing a match. Then Lo and behold they move the match right slap bang in the middle of my holiday!

 

Cheers Ellis. Matches should be played at the weekend wherever possible. Folk also take into account how many matches they will miss to see if it's worth buying a season ticket or not.

 

Incidentally Millwall took 387 to Scunny yesterday.

Is the threat about closing down the ground if that fence wasn't put up before the ground a form of blackmail?

When the club and the police can't agree on the category for the fixture, it gets referred to the Council's Safety Advisory Group. They issue or withdraw the ground's safety certificate. It seems that this fence was put up as a condition of that.

 

Is the so called intelligence information acceptable?

Now this is a question that Norman should be asking Ellis to investigate on behalf of the club, and also something Ellis should be investigating off his own back on behalf of the taxpayer. Either way, he should be demanding answers from the Chief Constable. Especially in light of it being two seasons in a row.

But even so it seems strange that no squads have been named yet.Playing on a Tuesday and not a Saturday will have a much smaller attendance.Even though it is against Millwall and being on a Tuesday now and not Saturday should reduce the police cost.
