Maybe the adults want to sit together so that they can talk to each other. Maybe they only see each other occasionally and this is their only chance to catch up. people on here are very quick to decide how other people should live their lives. Unfortunately all that we are achieving is making less people want to pay money to watch Port Vale.

Understand where you are coming from mate, BUT the whole point is that when there is an allocation of tickets lesser than the anticipated demand people have to accept that they probably will not be able to sit together unless they are all season ticket holders and go to collect tickets at the same time or allocate 1 friend to take all the season tickets to get seats together. If some members of the "friendship" are non season ticket holders I cannot see that they have any cause to complain if they can only then sit elsewhere.

It's not as though fellow Valiants have strong body odour or the like....we are all easy to sit with/next to you know! It's actually refreshing sometimes to sit with fellow fans you don't know as we are part of one big Vale family. I often attend most away games by myself and have met/talked to and got on well with everyone.

I find it absolutely incredible the amount of abuse thrown at Norman for simply doing what he believed to be the best for that particular game. I also cannot understand anyone not attending a game because they cannot sit next to the person/s they want to!! It's a game of football for Vale fans alike or am I just Billy no-mates?

But why should he have to. This is supposed to be a family day out not an obstacle course. It is no wonder that we are slowly losing fans.

How is it supposed to be a family day?

It's a day for football fans.

I've made this point many times but will again. Let's say it was 2 per season ticket. So in particular this family is happy, they can all go, however there is 3 now going who may not attend vale reguarly and are attending because of the size of the game. Now there's 3 potential vale fans who go most weeks home and away that can no longer go.

Tuesday is not a 'family day out'.

Well done Norman for a complete and utter ticketing screw up. Having purchased 3 tickets for WBA on Tuesday with my 3 season tickets, I returned this morning to purchase the other 3 tickets I required. Only to be told that we would definitely be required to sit in our allocated, numbered seats!! The whole point was we were going as a family, not to be split up and sit in different parts of the ground. So thanks to your ridiculous decisions not to take the full allocation, then to only allow ST holders to buy one ticket, and then slap them in the face by allowing non ST holders to purchase as many as they wanted, this has meant three very disappointed and disillusioned Vale fans who now can't go to watch The Vale at WBA. Give yourself a massive round of applause  ‪#‎PVFC‬

If it is so important to all sit together, surely you should have waited until Friday to buy the 6 tickets, or even take along the 3 tickets and do a swap to sit together. WBA issued the seat allocated tickets, not Norman. Allocated seating is not uncommon at big clubs, the Vale use it for STs.

It's a day when new fans can be encouraged to follow the Vale. How many Vale fans first game was vs Spurs or Everton, Arsenal or Aston Villa?

Between 1971 and 1984 I attended many away games with a mate, if either of us couldnt go the other didnt... it was the experience that mattered not the game although the game was part of the experience

Why would anyone assume that you would just be able to sit where you want at a Premier League ground where allocated seating is the norm?? How was that going to work if we sell out? Crazy.
